Accommodation

Travelling away from home, often for prolonged periods, during cancer treatment can place further stress on people affected by cancer.

In some states and territories, Cancer Council is able to help you find somewhere to stay during treatment.

Depending on where you're located, this might be in a hotel or other accommodation at a reduced rate with thanks to corporate partnerships and sponsorship; or rooms in community-based or Cancer Council owned accommodation centres and lodges.

What will it cost?

The costs and options available to you, will vary across the states and territories in Australia.

Please contact 13 11 20 between 9am-5pm, weekdays to enquire if there are any accommodation options or assistance available to you.
