Being diagnosed with cancer, undergoing treatment and then dealing with appearance changes on top, can be an emotional time and quite difficult for some Australians going through cancer treatment.
The Cancer Patients Foundation runs the Look Good Feel Better program, which focuses on practical tips to help people undergoing cancer treatment to manage side effects, improve self-esteem and manage their appearance.
Supported by a team of trained volunteers, the program covers:
- skin care
- make-up
- hats and turbans
- wigs
