Hi I had SCC squamous cell carcinoma in lip. Wedge resection and histology shows evidence of cells on border. PET CT scans revealed all clear except some activity at site of surgery.
As a precaution have been advised to have radiotherapy on site of excision.
What are side effects of radiotherapy in mouth lip jaw area?
Dental effects, bone effects, skin and mouth effects.
