Squamous cell carcinoma of the mouth

G'day All, I am currently 5 weeks post op following a radical neck dissection and a T2 tumour resection of the floor of the mouth. I am a former smoker of 28yrs and I was diagnosed 4 months to the day of giving up. My tumour manifested itself in a period of approximately 10 days and i ahve been extremely fortunate that their was no neural, vascular or lymphatic spread so I will not have to undergo any radiation or chemo. I am really interested in sharing my experience with other people who are facing this cancer and would like to be able to help them understand what they may experience during treatment. Cheers Alex

Re: Squamous cell carcinoma of the mouth

Hi, how are you going these days? I have SCC in gum/jaw and the jaw resection and neck dissection 7 weeks ago.
