Thanks for your support, Linda. Your advice confirmed my thinking. Having people with me at the appt was critical as i only took in about half of what was being said by the specialist.  It was exhausting for us all.  Kind regards RobynMay ... View more

Hello everyone, i am a new member.  I have just found out from a CT scan that I have liver cancer, primary unknown, and am in quite a bit of shock. I am having my first consultation with a surgeon tomorrow amd was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how to approach that.  Christmas day yesterday with my lovely family was an emotional rollercoaster.  I am trying to be very open and honest with everyone, lots of big hugs, etc but am sad and scared.
