Hi, TL; DR: Need innovative suggestion to handle metastasis hindering digestion My dad (53 years) got diagnosed with rectosigmoid cancer last June and underwent surgery and 8 sittings of chemo. A month after the chemotherapy ended, the cancer came back much more aggressively on the omental layer. He has ascites now and even after 2 rounds of chemotherapy, the metastasis is causing narrowing in multiple locations of the small intestine, stopping him from eating anything. Constant vomiting. Without oral ingestion, the oncologist says chemotherapy cannot be administered and due to the ascites, surgery or installing a stent is out of the question. The goal is to make him eat, so, the chemotherapy can be continued. Has anyone faced a similar situation or know a way around this? Please reach out if I need to give more details, I am desperate for a solution.
