Hi Cathy, Have you tried a wig when you go out? The Cancer Council loan out wigs for a year or more, at no charge. You are able to try on different styles to see which one you would prefer. They also give out beanies, which I felt comfortable wearing last winter. My hair started growing back about 2 months after chemo and is now grown back almost as before, after nearly a year.
