Hi Tracey my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in October 2019..only treatment  he got offered is immunotherapy only as his bio markers were extremely high which mean it should help him otherwise they stated he would not have been offered any treatment at all.. He lost about 20 kgs in the fist couple of months of diagnosis, He is in a fair bit of pain when sitting in chairs & going to appointment ,so spends most of his time lying down..I’m very much in the same situation as you unsure as to how quickly he will deteriorate . I must say he has had 3 doses of immunotherapy & has handled it well with only side affect being very tied for 1st couple days after treatment.
