Making Sense (June 2006) I got Leukaemia because I’ve always wanted short hair but would never have been brave enough to cut it. I got Leukaemia because I told too many lies at school and I bullied my little sister. I got Leukaemia because I needed to lose some weight and the gym membership just wasn’t working. I got Leukaemia because I was going down the wrong path and needed to be steered back in the right direction. I got Leukaemia because Only through suffering do we truly understand and achieve our goals. I got Leukaemia because I am tougher and stronger than most and I can prove to the others that survival is possible. I got Leukaemia because… I was just unlucky.
