Just over 2 years ago I attended a 2 day training program to become an advocate for cancer related issues. This training, run by the Cancer Council was epic - and free (including accommodation, flights and meals). Why am I sharing this with you here in the Young Adult section of this site? Because the Cancer Council have just announced that they are running a similar training SPECIFIC for YACs aged 18-40 years. This is an AWESOME opportunity for you to join a new movement of YACs who are presently not happy with being 'stuck in the middle' and want to do something about it. If this interests you, then apply now for this training, as there are only 20 places up for grabs! You will find all the details in my lasted forum post here... http://www.cancerconnections.com.au/content/learn-advocacy-skills
