I have been with my partner for nearly 11 years and due to the fact that his prognosos is only a couple of years I took the plunge and asked him to marry me. After the initial shock as it was totally out of left field he said yes as he knew it was so important to me.We are getting married at home in front of 80 people (including his two sons, his two stepdaughters and my two sons and daughter)in seven weeks time. I have managed to organise everything in just over a week. Who said weddings were hard to organise. The other good thing is it has given us a different focus and for the first time since he was diagnosed in August I actually have some time when I am not thinking about cancer. It has also given our family and friends a boost as well. Hugs to everyone Gail
