Hello everyone, I just wanted to write a short blog entry as a way to reflect after our first week online. We have received some very positive feedback and we are happy most people have found the site easy to use. The activity has also shown and marked increase when compare with our old site. we had over 1000 pages views per day in average for the first week and the average time our members were visiting the site in a single visit was very close to 10 minutes. we are also in the process of working closer with the online support services of Victoria and looking into reaching other states too. We think that only good things can come when we work closely together for the same cause. There will be many more things coming as the community continues evolving. once more, feel free to send us your feedback using our contact form My best wishes go to everyone and stay tune for more things that will be coming in the near future. Raul hi, In regard to "we are also in the process of working closer with the online support services of Victoria and looking into reaching other states too" - are you encouraging people from all over Australia to join Cancer Connections at this stage or only those from NSW? Cheers, Ed.

Hi Ed, we are encouraging people all over Australia to join. At the moment we have around 60% of the users coming from NSW 30% from other states and about 10% from other countries. We are actually talking also to SA to see if they promote the site there more to reach more people. If you know other ways to promote the site in your area let us know :-) Raul

Thanks Raul - good to hear - I thought I'd better check before promoting the site on the internet as an Australia-wide community 🙂 Cheers, Ed.
