I have finally had my last chemo which was a high dose chemo and had a stem cell transplant. I was told to expect to develop a fever which would last two days, ended up with fevers for six days. The cause ended up being my picc line which I had in place for four months. They couldnt take it out earlier as my platelets had dropped to 4 and it wasnt safe to remove it at that time.
After four weeks in hospital I am home and apart from feeling tired things are pretty good.
Will be starting radiotherapy soon.
