When does it start from?

Hi I was wondering if someone could shed some light on my question. 

When does the 5 year cancer free start from. Is it from when chemo finishes  or immunotherapy finishes. I had my last chemo 23rd Dec 3025 and last immunotherapy as of 30th June 3026. So when does my cancer free year start.  I hope I make sense in my question

Hello @Di57 , I can hear that you are possibly processing life after treatment and all that means for you. It's such a big stage of cancer to navigate and it's common to experience a wide range of thoughts and emotions.

Your question really depends on many things such as the type of cancer you were diagnosed with, your treatment plan and your ongoing follow up plan. It also takes into consideration whether your medical care team have discussed whether you are cancer free and if your treatment is complete yet. It's an answer that would be different for everyone. I recommend you talk to your doctor to get some clarity on what this all means for you in your case.
