I am now at day 12 post melanoma removal by wide excision with a skin graft. The graft has 70% taken which I am told is good. The original hole in my arm was large enough to sit an egg in and it is now down to a soup spoon in depth. I have done a photo journal to compare each dressing change. My family have finally discovered washing ironing and cooking out of necessity. My pathology says all cancerous cells have been removed and I seriously think that advertising for skin cancers is very blasé and nowhere near reality. Thank you for the advice regarding a head cold before my operation. It was excellent advice.
