Clothing

hello...

I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of clothing when picc line is inserted but also attached to the chemo.  My Dad has had to go back in for more treatment but is in Canberra, and he is chilly. I was thinking a puffer coat as they are lightweight, but he doesn't want to put his arm through it, so i thought a puffer poncho (he is 76 so it needs to be lightweight) ... or a polar fleece poncho. Anyone know where or how I can get one or a pattern to make one?

Thanks very much in advance.

Re: Clothing

Hello,

My mum had one and yes sounds like you have the right idea. cardigans and light weight jackets will be useful and easier for treatment.

All the best and i hope things are going well with your father x

Re: Clothing

Wearing a cardigan and scarf is a good choice since it will not limit the body's movements. Besides, these wears are light and comfortable to use.
