Hi all,
Our 37 year old daughter has just been diagnosed with TNBC. We are waiting on the PETSC to see the extent of it, but for now it appears to be a single 5mm tumour in her right breast. Lymph does not appear to be affected. Chemo should start next week and then we will just have to ride the rollercoaster of the effects of chemotherapy.
As you can imagine, the news has knocked the stuffing out of us.
The question for you is, how does one stay strong for one's children faced with such a devastating adversary. I'm finding that I'm struggling to hold things together when I'm on my own. How do you cope?
Does anyone have any strategies they can share.
Thanks all.
