Hi everyone,

My name is David, and I’m here to share the story of my amazing wife, Amanda.

On May 1st of this year, Amanda was diagnosed with incurable metastatic cancer that has spread to her spine, breasts, and ovaries. The very next day, May 2nd, we got married. It was meant to be the start of our forever together, but instead of celebrating with a honeymoon, we cancelled everything and began navigating this devastating diagnosis.

Amanda is only 42. She is one of the most caring, loving, and thoughtful people you could ever hope to meet. She has always been the one putting others first — whether it’s looking after friends, checking in on family, or simply making someone feel seen and loved. She has a heart of pure gold, and she truly makes the world better just by being in it.

While her cancer can’t be cured, I want to make sure Amanda’s time is filled with joy, comfort, and unforgettable memories. I’ve started a GoFundMe to help us focus on living, not just on fighting cancer — to make her bucket list dreams come true, to take the trips we never got to take, and to give her the quality of life she deserves.
