lung cancer

My mum was diagnosed with lung cancer in June 2013 and was given 6-8 weeks to live back then.

 

Family decided not to go through chemo and only had radiation on the areas affected by cancer. She was never given a treatment for her cancer nor was counselled for her cancer. This is in New Zealand.

 

With no treatement and only given 6-8 weeks to live - i tend to think it is not cancer. I would like to talk to someone who had cases like this.
