I am trying to help my wife. Her father (a beautiful man) is dying of liver cancer. She is taking it very hard and I want to help. The process has been very painful for him. Watching it for her, has made her angry at the world (including God) because she is losing her dad in such a miserable way. Any ideas on how to console or support her would be greatly appreciated
This article might be of help - needs to be adjusted in some way for a spouse but the principles are the same ie if she does all the cooking, give her a night off.
Allow her to grieve in her own way and often a hug or an empathic response is more helpful than offering any solution.
