Esthesioneuroblastoma

My husband is 43, he was diagnosed with grade 3 esthesioneuroblastoma in may this year. Surgery seems to have been successful in removing the tumour and radiation followed. I would love to hear from anyone who has experienced this cancer or similar. I am struggling with the emotions involved and the effect it is having on my 3 children

Re: Esthesioneuroblastoma

Hi Hobie,

I was diagnosed with a Grade 2 Astrocytoma last year when my second child was 3 months old. I was absolutely terrified. After a biopsy and craniotomy, the tumour was removed and has not returned. I still feel afraid that I won't be there for my children as they grow (now nearly 2 and 7) but we can only stay in the present. I think my husband would definitely have some idea how you are feeling!

I hope your husband continues to do well and I wish you all the best.

Melissa
