Financial Toxicity of Cancer Care: is cancer care too expensive? Share your story.

Hi,

My name is Karl, I live in Perth and I am a freelance science writer. I am currently writing an article for the journal Nature Cancer, about the Financial toxicity of cancer care. This term, financial toxicity, concerns the excessive cost of some cancer treatments, which in some cases, patients need to face.

For this article, I am interested in including some case examples of patients who have faced extreme or significant financial toxicity from their cancer treatment.
