dr called to see us because of gp blood test results... can it be good news? was due to see in 10 days anyway

Hi there, My husband has been a little unwell so the gp did some tests, he is currently toyin chemo for non-hodgkins lymphoma and is having a pet scan 28th October and had specialist appointment 3rd November. He had additional blood tests showing elevated white cells count Tuesday this week and Wednesday the specialist called to see him 24th. Has any specialist ever asked for an earlier appointment with good news?
