REFLECTIONS
I look in the mirror to the face reflected back at me
Is this me?
The Cancer treatment has robbed me of my hair, my lashes & eyebrows
Who is this bald person reflected back at me? is it really me?
My face is pale and gaunt looking, my listless eyes
That was three months ago…
Now……..
My hair is slowly growing back, my lashes and eyebrows
My hair is silver and dark, the silver frames my face
My face has colour, my eyes sparkling and bright
I can see me
It is me reflected in the mirror?
I am me again, But only in my reflection
