The day I heard the news that the cancer had returned, I didn't feel shocked or scared, I never lamented why it had happened to me. I can accept what happened to what is called natural, ordinary. The first thing I asked the doctor was what I had to do next, so that the rest of my life could be with the cancer with understanding. It was the beginning of the process of becoming a good patient for the doctor.
