My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer August 2013 that had spread to his bones be were given a life expectancy of 8 months and he just passed away exactly 8 months later. Prior to dianosis he smoked for 40 years and refused to see a doctor when a cold type cough lasted over 6 months which was followed by a pain in his shoulder he self diagnosed as muscular which was actually a colladpsed lung and followed by loss of appetite and weigh loss it was only when he collapsed he saw a Doctor which is why I am now a widow.
