Melanoma cancer has travelled to my lungs after 9 months of immunotherapy to prevent this happening

I had a melanoma removed last Nov 22 and it had travelled to my lymp nodes and they were also removed. After 9 months of immunotherapy it has travelled to my lungs. I am about o start an addiction immunotherapy and have it more often next week. However I have had quite a strong reaction to the treatment after 9 months with mouth and throat ulcers. So being treated with cortisone atm. No other options have been given to me apart from immunotherapy although it hasn't worked so far for me. I am interested to know if anyone else has had this type of thing happen to them.

Hello Annastasia2,

I am sorry to hear about the side effects you are getting from immunotherapy treatment, I would like to share with you some links that I hope could provide some information about the side effects of immunotherapy. I also hope that some of our members could share some of their own personal experiences.

Warm regards

Susana
