My husband has stage 4 lung cancer and has been battling rounds of chemo. Last night I was told I have Breast Cancer and have to go for a lumpectomy. I have four boys raging in age from 17 - 24. Having to tell the boys last night was probably the hardest thing I have had to do. They were doing it tough thinking they were going to lose their father and now with the possibility they may lose their mother has had a devastating effect on them. I am trying to get them involved in the day to day treatments etc. so they are aware of what is going on. I would love to have someone going through the same sort of thing to bounce things off. Kris
Cancer Council NSW would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work.We would also like to pay respect to elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal people.
