Newbie from Brizvegas

Hi, Just been diagnosed with cervical cancer in last couple weeks. It all very daunting right now so have joined cancer connections to join a community who understands this journey. Am waiting on oncologists appointment next Fri to make sure the pet/ct scan I had couple days ago doesn't show the cancer is anywhere else.

Hi Claire I was diagnosed in January 2015 with endometrial cancer and had radical hysterectomy last week 30/4 so understand what a whirlwind it can be. They say they think they got it all so cancer, while an emotional roller coaster, can be dealt with much better these days. There is a group for women with gyny cancer on this website and I have found their support valuable. Just go to groups on top right of pg and read and maybe request membership. All the best GHT
