Pancreatic Cancer w/Mets to the liver

Im 52 years young, diagnosed about 20 days ago. Was in ketosis, blood sugars read Hi on the glucometer.

That's the second time I was in ketoacidoses. Where my A1C was over 17.

I was in a total blackout, not knowing what i was doing or what was happening.

I was violently combative lost many days, literally was dieing  sad thing is I wasn't really eating much, and was not getting my glucose levels under control because I was eating little bits all throughout the day. Would get a few bites in and become Full. Drinking was becoming less because I was not active and wasn't thirsty. Dehydration took over and I now have not been able to rehydrate. Urination is restricted difficult to get started and painful, once started, it will start to flow steady and stop, then slowly trickle and I can't push it faster nor stop it. Sometimes 30 minutes to empty. Then I have severe constipation. Even taking a stool softener 2 times a day. Sometimes 8 to 10 days before I am able to have a bowl movement. Lose appetite and then the empty stomach is extremely uncomfortable and makes it harder to get even light foods down. So I am not absorbing any nutrients, vitamins and water.

The pain is so hard to get through without pain medicine. I was 18 years opioid free and really don't want pain medicine, but OMFG!

I really want to be able to  help get answers about this cancer, be the one who finds one fact that can help the person next diagnosed with less stress and struggle than I am going through.

Maybe I can get researching the possibility of being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes before 45 years of age is a starting point to quarterly scan the abdominal area and monitor the pancreas. IDK.

In conclusion, I am in need of a support group meeting with others.

I am part of MD Anderson cancer center, Cooper University Medical center.

Have a medical oncology care team,  palliative care team and a small understanding support team. Starting Chemo Thursday and giving a strong treatment regimen and giving it all to my higher power as I know that the universe will bring the positive strength that my people are putting out for me to absorb, strengthen, and make a difference in the way of becoming closer to the earlier diagnosis and temperament of this cancer. So others may not suffer as I am.
