Scared of the unknown

Hi everyone. I am a 39 year old mum of three. I have been told today that a biopsy that was done of enlarged lymph nodes had cancer cells.  They don't know where the cancer is or what it could be at this stage. I am terrified.  They are doing my tests at the lab on Monday and hopefully I'll know more soon,

I am a very healthy person, I never get sick, but over the last 2 months they found enlarged lymph nodes and I had a few viruses with fevers. Blood tests came back with anaemia, high white blood cell count and something to do with my bone marrow working hard.

I am so shocked. Any words would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi Quarry1,

I'm sorry to hear of your test results. It sounds like it's been a real shock and that there are a lot of unknowns for you at this time. I have sent you a private message.

Take care and I hope you are able to receive support online from the community here. Thanks for reaching out.

Kind regards,

Margaret
