Terminal Cancer

My wife has been diagnosed with terminal cervical cancer. I am finding it very difficult to accept. Chemotherapy begins next week. I pray that she can somehow beat this. I am from Canada and have no family here.

Re: Terminal Cancer

Hi @StayStrong38 ,

I am so sorry to hear about your wife's diagnosis. It must be very difficult to navigate without family support here.

At Cancer Council we have a health professional support line where you can recieve information and support. You can call us on 13 11 20.

A booklet you may find helpful is called Emotions and Cancer.

Perhaps others in the community who are also caring for a loved one with advanced cancer could share how they have coped during this very challenging stage?

Take care,

Felicity
