I just wanted to share some good news.

I just wanted to share some good news.

So I started my second cycle of chemothrepy (FOLFOXIRI + bevacizumab) today for my stage 4 colon cancer. Without getting into it too much and boring you all, that means I got my blood test results so I can compare my cancer marker.

Pre-chemo: 9.2
After 1 cycle: 4.2 🎉

I don't want to get too overconfident because it's still early days but I am really happy that the chemo is clearly having a positive effect so far.

My oncologist was obviously happy with the results but she did also mention that around 4 is a "more normal" marker.

The results have exceeded my expectations. I was honestly just hoping the market wasn't too much higher than 9.2... but it dropped... by more than 50% 😊

I'm 31 and my cancer has been advancing quite quick and although I've been able to stay relatively positive it does feel like it's been a while since I've had some good new in regards to my cancer.

Much love and all the best to you and your supporters ✌️

Hi Crush,

That is amazing news. Congratulations!

I too am battling stage 4 bowel cancer and I have started my chemo journey.

I sure hope I get similar results to you in due course.

Stay positive, that's the real trick.

Best wishes
