Hi. I am a 61 year old grandmother. In Dec and Jan I found firstly a small lump behind my ear and then a larger firm lump in my neck. After a whirlwind two weeks of investigations I had a modified neck resection with removal of my parotid gland and all neck lymph glands on the right side. The pathology showed it was a metastatic melanoma stage 3 with no known primary. Then followed 25 sessions and radiotherapy which finished last week. Just starting to feel a bit better but at a bit of a loss of what to do next.
Cancer Council NSW would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work.We would also like to pay respect to elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal people.
