Newly diagnosed

Hi all, In the first week of January, I went to the doctor for what I thought was an infection somewhere because a lump appeared in my neck. After urgent ultrasounds etc I was called into the doctor the same afternoon and told I had advanced metastisised lung cancer, all through my lymph nodes primary in the right lung. I have had 2 cycles of chemo so far, the tumours have shrunk, I feel almost normal except for this fear that takes over and overwhelmes me. I do not want to know how long I have, and sometimes feels like it is just a nightmare. I want to stick around a bit longer to see my grandaughter grow a bit more. I have just talked her mum into moving to OZ from New Zealand where we lived for many years. I hope I can stay well enough to help them settle.
