Solanum Incanum - has anyone heard of this?

My husband was diagnosed with bowel cancer at 51. It devastated our family. We have spent the past 3 years researching alternative therapies and discovered one from Taiwan called Solanum Incanum - have you heard of anyone taking this Chinese herb before? After one month of these herbal capsules he said he actually feels much better, more energy, not getting sick much anymore but we are still trying to work out whether it has any side effects - would apreciate if anyone has heard of it, or knows anyone who has used it. In Taiwan they use it for different cancers and have received quite a lot of good feedback but it seems unknown outside of Taiwan. Thanks.
