Anyone experience something like this?

Hi, my name is Natalie and I’m 43. My story is long I hope I don’t go on too long. I have not felt well for 3 years now, I seem to be getting worse slowly by slowly. Started sept 2016 I suddenly developed a DVt in left lower leg after never having these troubles before. I had none of the risk factors doc asked me about just a semi long bus ride of 3h. They did some blood test and said didn’t know why I had clot put me on Xarelto for few months. I thought that was it but then in March 2017 I had pulmonary embolism clots in both lungs, they again did blood test and said didn’t know why and put me on xarelto for life,

later fall 2017 I was feeling really tired and having heavy periods, went to my doc she did exam and more blood test which came back severe anemia and vitamin d and calcium low, she did stool exam and was satisfied with that.  I was put on iron for 6 months

dec 2017 I started having many symptoms dizzy, tired, headaches, no appetite, strange pins and needles in left arm, muscles twitching in feet etc . I went to doctor mine, and internal medicine specialist I was referred to and other at clinic many times for all of this and they would do CBC blood test, test kidneys, liver, electrolytes etc and always said it was all normal. But I never felt normal and some things like tingling in fingers, twitching muscles etc never stopped.

I found hard lump under armpit and showed doc she referred me for a ultrasound but they said it was a cyst. I also developed a hard lump on back of my head near my neck that hurts when I lie on it but doc said that was my bone...why would it suddenly hurt? I started getting pain in lower back and when feeling there noticed 2 hard movable lumps on either side of spine my doc referred me for scan of those and the radiologist said he couldn’t find anything,

i had iud put in for heavy periods and then had non stop period for 2 months and at the end iud fell out. Recently I’ve been having pain in my bones everywhere. Big toe, foot, lower legs arms, neck sometimes they are dull ache sometimes a sharp pain. And been getting nightsweats and feeling hot but when I take temp I don’t have fever.

This isn’t everything but it is going on too long and I fear I sound crazy lol. I’ve seen so many docs and they have done so many blood test....oh last month I was feeling very weak and tired and had test and had severe anemia again...besides the anemia they always say everything is normal.

i am afraid I have something like lymphoma or blood cancer that has maybe spread after all this time. But would is this possible I have seen so many docs and none of them can detect something like this? I really have no idea what to do anymore. I’m so worried and confused 😞 sorry for writing a novel,

Re: Anyone experience something like this?

I have heard there is something called fibromyalgia.

Oddly your GP may actually refer you to a psychiatrist for that

as it is often accompanied with depression (more common in women.)

100% of everybody needs a general practitioner.

100% of women need OBG mammogram ... Sometimes 'the pill' works better for menstruation problems.

80% of all people need a psychiatrist at some time in their life.

And don't let them tell you all you need is just talk therapy.

I have not taken my anti-depressant for a while.  It helped with my tiredness.

I use abilify along with blood pressure, cholesterol, and high blood sugar pills.

I take my pills twice a day.  I should take one now as my feet are tingling.

Without my abilify I would be seeing rainbows and hearing the Grateful Dead play all day in my head.

(bipolar disorder)

There are drugs like neurontin that a psychiatrist or neurologist are more likely to prescribe

for carpel tunnel syndrome, tingling.

Oh and I need to eat bananas to keep my calcium up.  I've had dizzyness and can now never walk

10 steps heel to toe.  Sometimes I can't always touch my nose with arms extended and eyes shut.

Dizziness is The Most Common Symptom older folks have.

In short a blood test (white blood cells would be off) for sure if you had cancer or infections.

You will find something that works for you.

Re: Anyone experience something like this?

Thanks for the reply, I know I sound a little crazy. It Hasn’t just been so frustrating feeling worse and worse and not knowing why, I have considered fibromyalgia as what could be causing me to feel this way as well. It just seems strange how I keep getting new problems like the pain in my legs and feet which I didn’t have a few weeks ago. Also my doctor mentioned when sending me for the bcc blood test that it would detect I rections or maybe blood cancers but can’t detect others cancer just to say that cancer isn’t always detected by these blood test.i just wish I’d learn why i feel so tired, and sick all the time. 😞

Re: Anyone experience something like this?

It's good that your doctor is thourough.  Fatigue in legs and feet could be due to fibromyalgia.

I felt, in my late 20's that I was waking up hungover without having drank for days.

I went to the local clinic weekly and was assigned a therapist.  It did nothing for me.

It was not until years later until I was given antidepressants that helped for that.  By that time

I had OCD that caused strangeness such as having to check to see if I locked my door when I

left the house or car, two or three times before I could actually leave.

Even just now I had cramping in my back that cause me chills and weekness.  It's been 5 days since

I ate a banana.
