BCC Nose

Justine52

Hi,

Anyone else had a skin cancer removed from their nose ?  The circulation in my nose since surgery has been compromised.  Recently I became very ill and the circulation reduced even more, to the point, my nose became "dusky".  I have been massaging the nose since becoming well again, but the blood flow is so banked up, from the scar from the BCC removal that my nose looks red.  I am seeing a vascular surgeon on 27/9 but I am very frightened.

Re: BCC Nose

Hi Justine, so sorry to hear that your nose is not healing properly. Did a plastic surgeon do the procedure? I have had several BCs removed from my face, including my nose, but it sounds like yours was a lot bigger of a problem.  Did you have to have a skin graft? Hopefully the vascular surgeon can give you some answers and relieve your fears. Sending you lots of prayers and love. 💕 Linda G

Re: BCC Nose

To LindaG

Thank you so much for your reply.  Yes, it was a plastic surgeon.  Yes, a skin graft (flap).  The scarring and tightness across the bridge of my nose, compromises my blood supply.  I am seeing a Vascular Surgeon in the next two weeks.

Thanks for your kind wishes.  So much appreciated.  All the best to you also.  Prayers and love your way too.
