Folfiri shortness of breath

Hi My mum (over 70) started off with Pancreatic cancer (stage 4) had chemo Gemzar full cycle took a break. During the break lungs filled with ascites. Now started Folfiri 1st week. She has complained of shortness of breath and tightness around the waist. The oncologist has been informed but I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience and treatment.

Anxious cos Mum wants to stop chemo after the first cycle.
