Re: Living alone with Cancer and Depression

Hi Richard,

Glad it wasn't too bad your treatment for you, how you feeling today? hope you can push through, try to think that it means "it's doing it's job" that's what I do.

Yesterday wasn't a good day for me, but having a rant on here helped and I'm happier today.😊

I know I'll get through all this and you will too, we all have each others backs.

sending you hope & hugs,

Cindi xx

Re: Living alone with Cancer and Depression

Hi @Jennifer66 ,

I'm not as down today, I'll try to explain about what my Onc said later when I have more strength, the mornings I'm always tired.

I do hope you'll be ok and follow your Prof suggestions, remember, he has the experience and knowledge, he wouldn't be called professor for no reason!!

I understand though how difficult it must be for you when you have relatively no symptoms.

Sending hugs,

Cindi xx

Re: Living alone with Cancer and Depression

Hi Cindi ,

I'm having a good day, there is only little pain, hardly noticeable, I also had a good sleep ,a first for a long time 🙂

So sorry your having a tough time, I wish I could give you some of my good feelings, you're a very courageous person with a strong will, and with your kind words, you give me some of that courage as well. I'm hoping that very soon you'll be feeling a bit better.

Sending you love and comforting hugs.

You're always in my thoughts of becoming well.

Re: Living alone with Cancer and Depression

@Richard56

Wow, Richard, thank you for such kind words, and so glad you feeling not so bad.

Unfortunately I'm quite drained as I had to go to hospital again, had to go in Tuesday night because of symptoms again of infection, couldn't wee hardly at all, even though I'd had more than 2 liters of water that day, they were again worried about my kidney & evidently my liver due to the chemo, I was at least rushed through emergency , not like last time when I had to wait ages, so up to a room on my own due to low immune system, so that was good. they were very good to me.

Strong Antibiotics again for a couple of days & nights, & now antibiotics at home, & now much better but so, so tired.

I was so upset that they may cancel my chemo, but thank goodness I'm only missing this weeks and can have it next week if bloods ok, so fingers crossed🙂

Other than that it's a beautiful day today, love watching the trees & birds from my balcony.

Talk again when I have a bit more energy, my thoughts are with you too & big hugs to you,

Cindi xx

Hi @Cindi54

I’m so sorry to hear of your recent hospital emergency, I do hope you are feeling a lot better. I hope the chemo is not taking a toll on your body, and maybe a break from chemo is a good thing as it certainly is giving you such a hard time

my good thoughts with you that you will back to the things you love so soon

Re: Living alone with Cancer and Depression

Hi @Jennifer66 ,

Thank you so much , yes I'm feeling so much better thanks, and I'm so happy they didn't pull me from treatment as they were considering it, and I just want to get through so I have the best chance, next month I'll have a big scan to see what's happening inside, that'll be exciting, hope it's all clear and it's all been worth it 😘

How are you going?

Re: Living alone with Cancer and Depression

Hi @Cindi54

You certainly have been having a tough time, don’t put too much pressure on yourself, although you want it over with, if it is wise to have a break to give your body a rest maybe a good idea, then again if they are happy to keep going, I guess you will hang in there and be pushing on, hope all goes well next treatment, I know how strong you are

I will be having robotic surgery 3rd December for a major Cystectomy, I have a terrible cough at moment, are on high dose antibiotics at this stage still going ahead, but I’m not confident it will

take care lots of hugs and cuddles

Re: Living alone with Cancer and Depression

Hi @Jennifer66 ,

That's horrible for you being so sick with that cough, hope those antibiotics work soon? you poor thing, I hate getting a bad cough, you probably feel quite knocked about, and super tired.

Try to hang in there , try to rest if you can and I hope your surgery can take place.

I had Robotic surgery to remove kidney, ureter & bladder cuff, it's amazing how advanced things have got isn't it, I look at the small line under my tummy hole where kidney came out, amazing!!!!

Hoping you'll recover soon, thinking of you,

hugs.
