Hi @greg57

Sounds like your test may not have gone as good as you liked, I sincerely hope you are good and not suffering, and remember we all do and say silly things in treatments and surgeries so don’t be too hard on yourself, sending good thoughts and warm hugs, stay strong

kindest thoughts

Re: Nervously waiting for liver biopsy results

Hi Cindi, thanks for the hug, i needed it. Just been feeling out of sorts lately. Last Monday when i had my work up done was a nightmare. Arrived at 7am full of optimism that i might get called in within the hour. Well after waiting for 8 hours i was at the point where i didnt care if i had the treatment or not so i decided to leave. Not even my partner could convince me to stay. I was very emotional at the time so nothing was making me turn around and go back. That was until my doctor and liver nurse chased me down outside the hospital. Basically told me that if i dont have the treatment things will not end well for me. So back i went and around 5.30 i finally went in and was home around 9pm. To make things worse the injection site on the back of my hand blew up like a golfball and started bleeding. It was a rough day Cindi. Thanks for your kind words, they mean a lot xx

Re: Nervously waiting for liver biopsy results

Hi Jennifer, im ok, my work up went well, as i mentioned to Cindi it was just a really long stressful day. Just been super tired and lethargic and it gets me down. I want to be active but know my life has now changed and things are differant. Waiting to hear from interventional radiology on when the chemo will be done. Should be in the next week or so. Thanks Jennifer, hope your doing well, Greg xx

Hi @greg57

gosh I can see what a stressful day it was for you, the waiting is so painful and ten surgeries  always a wait pre theatre !!  And my last surgery I was ready to go

Hopefully your next step will go a lot easier

Re: Nervously waiting for liver biopsy results

Hi Greg,

Oh I'm sorry. Yes it sounds horrible, waiting that long must have been torture.

I just don't understand why they made you wait so long, really unfair.

Hope the injection site has settled down now as well, yes you definitely had a rough day, but it's over now, just look forwards now, things will get better, you have to get through all this, so you can have a wonderful life in the future.

You have friends here who understand and we support you.

Yes it can be frustrating and unfair, but you need to push yourself, try to be patient, and stick at it.

Do you read at all? I like to take a Kindle reader with me to appointments, read something good, makes the time go quicker ( it's what I do on the treadmill at my gym so the time goes quicker) anyway just thought that may help.

So what's the next step? Hope all goes well,

Hugs from Cindi xx
