such lovely words to @greg57 he certainly had a tough day , hopefully all on the up now and he is feeling and coping a lot better. Good idea to always have  a book, we sure do read a lot throughout our cancer, I posted book I was reading on Instagram on my fourth hospital surgery and was lucky to have DM from author who is sending me her latest release from Canada as I write this before release date, books do bring so much joy

I am very much a day to day person and never looked ahead what may or may not happen so never had any expectations  on anyone or myself, I realise everyone so different but I find being hard on yourself will mess with your thoughts so much, I do know I never took anything seriously, a reason I changed doctors as doctor was too serious for my liking, at the time many thought  I was being ‘reckless’ but my cancer my problem, however all has worked out so well, so important to have your own control as well and not to think ahead too much or st all,

Hello my friend, thankyou sooo much for those beautiful inspiring words, you really are a saint. On the day of my work up they had two emergencies come in and they were a priority. Its all good, these things happen. Next stage is chemo (TACE), so just waiting to hear back from them regarding the date. Im actually getting a bit nervous about this one, ive been getting some sharp pain in my liver. Not all the time but often enough. Hey its great to hear youre still going to the gym, you must be happy to have that back in your life. Have you been getting out and about? I hope everything is going well for you. You're a sweet heart, thank you. I do like your attitude , wish I was more like you.

Unfortunately today I found out I have another bladder infection ( I've been getting a few) and it's resistant to the antibiotics I can take, last one I had I had to go to hospital and got onto one that wouldn't damage my kidney,but after a couple of days I got hives all over me! I can't have penicillin so now also cant have the special antibiotic Nitrofurantoin BNM, so don't know what I'll do, I'm now waiting on a call  from my oncologist nurse.

It's very frustrating, but I have to be careful only having one kidney, as getting the infection traveling to there wouldn't be good.

I'll try to think like you and not stress. ( I just hate having to go back to hospital)

I do hope it all goes well for you and sorry your getting pain around your liver, that's not good. The sooner you can start treatment the better so you can get on the road to recovery, which I really feel you will.

Of course you must be a bit stressed, nobody likes having treatment, but think of it as the "good" medicine as it fights the cancer 😉

I've been going to my gym a lot and trying to build up my strength slowly, but have just found out I have another infection so guess the gyms out for a few days.

I'm worried about it traveling to my one & only kidney.

Hopefully things will end up ok, and also with you, we all just have to stay strong and keep fighting.

Shame about your infection and certainly hope it stays away from your kidney, you always do the right things so I’m sure you will be on a good track to a quick recovery

You certainly do cop so much, and no good having reactions to what is there to help you, certainly would stress you out when your options aren’t great, as you do have to look after that precious kidney 

and absolutely not much joy in having to go to hospital. I hope things do get sorted and you get onto a quick recovery 

try to focus on things that make you happy and perhaps painting and drawing more

Good morning Cindi,how are you? Hope your infection has cleared up and youre feeling better. Just letting you know the hospital called yesterday and im booked in for Monday 8am. Still a little bit worried about the pain in my liver, hope it will be ok. If the doctors say its ok to go ahead then i just have to trust them. Like you said, its good medicine, but im not looking forward to feeling like shit after it. Ill probably be off the planet for a few days but once i feel better ill let you know how it all went. I'm glad you're getting it done so soon, just get it over and done with, I hate waiting I find myself worrying over it all too much, so best I always feel to get it done quickly.

I really hope it'll all be not too bad for you, you might find it's not nearly as bad as you think it'll all be.
