Nervously waiting for liver biopsy results

Well I did get very sick and had to go back into hospital, but at home now and still not well but I guess the chemo still in me slows down healing, I'm still Imuno compromised.

Can't wait till next year hope it brings us all a better year and better health!

I’m so sorry with  what must feel like you have been kicked in the guts  again, especially to land back in hospital 

I do hope you can feel better quickly, you are having such a rotten journey 

 it has to get better and you are so incredibly strong alwsys looking on  he bright side

Hope you had a good Xmas, how have you been?

I'm feeling good today as yesterday I saw my oncologist and he had good news.

My ct scan showed no signs of cancer so, for now anyway, no more chemo and  will be able to have the Port removed from my chest which is great.

Also will be having a Cystoscopy to see if my bladder's clear.

So the new year is starting well for me, except for an ongoing post covid cough and tiredness, I'm feeling good.

I really hope your 2025 will be a better year.

Hi Cindi its great to hear from you. Yes, i hope this is a better year for everyone. Have you been going ok? Well it been 3 months since i had my SIRT treatment, and the time has come to have my CT. Ive been thinking about this constantly. Did the treatment work and the tumour is now smaller? Or it hasnt worked and it still the same. I pray it has worked and i can have the surgery to remove it, its such a worry. It could go either way. Im hopeful, but also know if its a bad result my fate could be sealed. I hope its not. I have my scan on Friday and was booked in to see my doctor on the 10th Feb. However that is the day im going away for 10 days so its now put back until the 21st Feb. I really dont want to go away still not knowing the result, so im hoping he can call me when he gets the scans and let me know how it has gone. Fingers crossed. Im sorry for rambling on Cindi, ive missed our chats. Many hugs back to you too. Greg xx

It's hard not to worry isn't it, and I agree with you about wanting to know before you go away, shame he can't fit you in before then, but a phone call would also be good, did you ask them to do this? hope they will.

And you're not rambling at all,  anyway, I don't care even if you were.

Where are you going? it'll be fun to get away,I'd love to, maybe when it's not so hot I'll get to get away for a night or two.

I'll have my fingers crossed for you, I know it's daunting, I'm also worrying about my biopsy results, just can't help it, I know how you feel. We've just got to push forward and hope for the best😘 xx

When do you get your results back, what are they checking for?  Have you been feeling any better? Hope you are. Im off to Windang, which is near Shellharbour. Planning on dusting off the surfboard. Even if i cant surf like i want to, just being in the ocean will be epic. It really is my happy place. Also want to catch a big Jewfish. Ive never caught one. So how is your house reno going? Are you any closer to moving back in? Have you been going to the gym lately. I hope you have some normality back in your life. Stay strong and take care Cindi  xo
