New melanoma dx

Hi! I was recently diagnosed with stage 1 melanoma, underwent excision and reconstructive plastic surgery in December. I am still unsure how to react to all of this, I want to be positive as the last path report showed no residual melanoma, but what if it has spread to somewhere else already? It's hard not to be scared.

Hi,

If it's stage 1, then it unlikely that it has spread.

Talk to your doctor about your concerns if you haven't already.
