Stage 4 Breast Cancer in the bones.

I am 85 and had Breast Cancer in 2000. In 2023 it came back.
I would like to make contact with people going on the same journey. I’m on Fulvestrant, Qeskali and xgevia and doing well 2 yrs since diagnosis.

Hello LynnG.   Thank you for positing.  The online forum can be a wonderful space to find support from others who connect with your experience and share their own stories. You may also find it helpful to search Cancer Council's website for information about the range of services available or to call Cancer Council's 13 11 20 line for a chat with one of our specialists.  Kind regards … Joseph_CCNSW

Dear LynnG,

I just want to say hi and that I think you are incredibly brave and strong to be facing what you have and do. I haven’t had your diagnosis or experience. But I am wishing you the very best.

Thank you Mila for your concern

At the moment I’m doing well

and feeling pretty good. As you can imagine I’m a bit anxious about the future and am living the best life I can day to day.

Re: Stage 4 Breast Cancer in the bones.

Hi @LynnG Thank you so much for reaching out to the community. It is great to hear you are doing well with your treatment since your diagnosis. Connecting with others at a similar place in their cancer journey can be really valuable in helping navigate your experience.

Cancer Council offers a Metastatic Breast Cancer Telephone Support Group that may be a great support option for you if you are an Australia resident. The group is a place where you can speak to others on the metastatic/advanced cancer journey.  If you give the team a call on 13 11 20 they will be able to talk to you about the group further to see if it is a match for you.

All the best,

Miranda
