Breast cancer recurrence now metastasised

Hello, the past two weeks have been overwhelming. I had breast cancer 12 years ago followed by a bilateral mastectomy and recently felt a lump in the same breast. I had an ultra sound and pet scan 4 days ago and the disease has spread to my back and spine. 

At this stage I have no idea what treatment will look like for me, I am waiting to hear back from the team. Would love to hear back from the community.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you're going through with your recent cancer reoccurrence.  That is such tough news to receive so many years after your past treatment and surgery. The unknown and waiting to hear from your treatment plan is a hard place to navigate.
