What makes cancer treatment worthwhile? For some people, it may be living longer. For others, it may be managing side effects, maintaining independence, protecting quality of life, or continuing the activities that matter most. Researchers want to better understand which treatment outcomes are most important to people affected by cancer.

Findings will help researchers better understand what people value during and after treatment and support more patient-centred decision-making in cancer care.
