Bulging tummy

Hi folks, I had partial nephrectomy in Jan 2012. Since then this unsitely bulging tummy..looks very pregnant but definately isnt...something like tummy muscles not working....does anyone have similar

Sorry ,no real knowledge but imagine it is post-operative swelling which takes months to go down. The other thought is as you said,muscles not being used normally . Possibly both are the causes. Ask your doctor ,your surgeon. He/she should've explained this before ,I think.They don't seem to prepare some of us for all possible and probable side effects. They don't realise how much these things affect us emotionally.

thankyou I did mention to doc..he said if u had seen how far i had to stretch your stomache you would understand....thanks for comments though I am new to this forum and appreciate v much
