My Mom who is 83 has stage 3b colon cáncer. Seven months ago she had the tumor removed along with 5 lymph nodes. After that she had six months of chemotherapy with the pill. It's being three months since, and she has not gained nor lost any more weight. She does have a good appetite, and all of the chemo side effects has gone. Two years ago she used to weight a very healthy 142 lbs. Is it normal for a cancer patient to not gain weight 7 months after the surgery, and three months after her last chemo treatment!?
