The big cervical cancer support and information website "Jo's Trust"
I'm posting this info because there are very few internet resources for those involved with cervical cancer, and this one I rate as a must to check out. It has by far the biggest cervical cancer forum (message board) I know about. My thanks to Kelly for bringing this website to my attention :)
The cervical cancer support and information website "Jo's Trust" at http://www.jotrust.co.uk is based in the United Kingdom and it welcomes visitors and members from around the world.
They say "Jo's Trust Fighting Cervical Cancer is the only UK charity dedicated to women, their families and friends affected by pre-cancer and cancer of the cervix. This is your website. We are here to help support you 24 hours a day and provide you with the most up-to-date information on all preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for cervical cancer".
They run a very active forum (message board) here http://www.jotrust.co.uk/forum/index.php
"Total posts 61063 • Total topics 6675 • Total members 2558" when I checked on 31st May 2009.
There's also a "Confidential medical advice" forum, described as
"A confidential medical advice forum for the submission of personal questions and concerns about all aspects of cervical cancer to a panel of healthcare professionals with specialist skills and expertise about cervical cancer. The members of Jo's Trust's medical panel give their time and expertise free of charge and since its launch in 2001 they have supported several thousand women from all over the world".
